Adam And Eve

Life began with Adam and Eve. God created Adam and Eve from clay and then breathed into it. After that life came into them and through them life in the world began. 

“Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” (Genesis 2:7)

“Adam named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living.” (Genesis 3:20)

Noah

God saved Noah‘s life and the lives of his family. When God thought of punishing this nation and sent a flood, he ordered Noah to build an ark and board it. Thus, God saved Noah’s life.

Moses

Moses advised Israelites to choose the path of God but they have choice if they wanted to choose life or death. Life can be achieved by obeying God. And disobeying God causes death.

David

David was satisfied with God’s blessings. He said that his life is  full of God’s blessings and he was really thankful for it. 

“Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.” (Psalm 23:6)

Solomon

Solomon said that a man can get peace in life when he lives according to God’s will. 

“My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity.” (Proverbs 3:1-2)

Job

God gave many hardships to Job but he remained steadfast. Due to his steadfastness God granted him a beautiful and peaceful life. Job also said this, that God has given me a peaceful life with many blessings.

Elijah

Elijah cried for a body who was dead. He prayed to God for this boy’s life. God fulfilled his prayer and he gave life to that boy.

Jesus

Jesus said that a man can only get a successful life if he believes in him and acts according to his teaching. By this a man can get eternal and peaceful life.

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)

Lazarus

Lazarus was dead but Jesus gave him life and he came out alive from the grave.

“When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face.” (John 11:43-44)

Paul

Paul said that if someone lives according to Jesus’ teachings then his death will also give him benefit.

“For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.” (Philippians 1:21)

Ruth

Ruth was so loyal to her mother in law. She lived her life with her mother in law.

But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me.” (Ruth 1:16-17)

Samuel

Samuel was dedicated in God’s way. So, he lived his life in spreading God’s message.

“The Lord was with Samuel as he grew up, and he let none of Samuel’s words fall to the ground.” (1 Samuel 3:19)

Daniel

Daniel lived his whole life according to God’s commandments.

“My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight. Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, Your Majesty.” (Daniel 6:22)

Jesus gave her a life of water to drink.
