The Dragon Which Symbolizes Satan

Dragon in The Bible

Did you know that Satan is also called the old snake?

This is said because in the beginning Satan took the form of a snake and led Adam and Eve astray, and in the end times he will take the form of a great snake. It means that at that time the evil will spread a lot and because of this evil, Satan will become very powerful, and his immense power is shown in the form of a snake.

Introduction

According to the Bible, the dragon is very scary and very powerful. The meaning of this dragon is Satan who disobeyed God. Actually this Satan used to live with God’s angels, but with time he became proud and because of this pride, he disobeyed God. Because of this disobedience He was cast out of heaven and began to live in the world. God had given Lucifer great powers and he was the chief of the angels. He thought that he would also take the place of God and rule. When God understood this thought, he threw him on the ground and said that now he has been humiliated and will be sent to hell when the Day of Judgment comes. First he was called Lucifer, and then he was called Satan. His purpose is to mislead people because he has been cursed by God. Now he wants all the people in the world who obey God to be astray and may their fate be as bad as mine.

Verse

And war broke out in heaven; Michael and his angels fought against the dragon. The dragon and his angels fought back, but they were defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. The great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him .(Revelation 12:7-9)

Verse

How you have fallen from heaven, O Morning Star, son of Dawn! How you are cut down to the ground, you who laid the nations low! You said to yourself, “I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit on the mount of assembly on the heights of Zaphon; I will ascend to the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.” But you are brought down to Sheol, to the depths of the Pit. (Isaiah 14:12-15)

War in Heaven

Satan had taken other angels with him. Satan had diverted the righteous angels from the path of God and turned them towards him and formed an army, and then he fought with the righteous angels of God and thought that when he won the battle, he would sit on the throne of God. But this did not happen, despite the full power of Satan, God’s good angels won and Satan was defeated. This is a lesson for us that evil can be powerful but cannot compete with good because good always wins and evil always loses.

Influence of Dragon

Influence of Dragon

Even when Satan was in heaven, he rebelled against God and led his righteous angels astray. When he was sent to earth as a punishment, now his purpose was to mislead the righteous servants of God in the world. He is the enemy of God and his righteous servants, he does not want the righteous servants of God to go to heaven because hell has been written in his destiny and he wants to take the rest of the people with him. His purpose is to mislead people and increase his power. He wants people to deviate from the path of God and join him. Therefore, everyone should focus on the good instead of the bad and stick firmly to the path of God.

The forces of evil are very powerful, but they are defeated by good. Similarly, there are many evil forces in our society, but it will also end. When Jesus returns to the world, he will throw Satan and all his followers into the fire. And the world will be free from Satan and Satanic activities. This will happen when the Day of Judgment is near. Dragon And Woman

Truth always wins because truth is promoted by God. As it is mentioned in the Book of Revelation that there is a woman who gives birth to a child, but Satan eats this child. It has been interpreted in such a way that the woman will be Israel or Mary and the son will be Jesus. Satan tries to eat him because he wants the truth to perish and become immortal forever.  This is also the work of Satan, he wants to destroy the good in the world and promote evil. But God will never allow this to happen because God always supports the truth, He does not support evil. All of Satan’s efforts will end when Jesus comes.

Verse

His tail swept down a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And she gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all the nations with a scepter of iron. But her child was snatched away and taken to God and to his throne, (Revelation 12:4-5)

Then the dragon was angry with the woman and went off to wage war on the rest of her children, those who keep the commandments of God and hold the testimony of Jesus. and will come out to deceive the nations at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, in order to gather them for battle; they are as numerous as the sands of the sea.
