A goat attacked him which broke two horns of the goat along with a ram but the goat got four horns instead of two. This dream made Daniel very anxious. He wanted to know what that meant. When Daniel did not understand this, God sent Gabriel. Gabriel came and explained to him the meaning of the dream that there are two empires that are very powerful and are ruling the world but a time will come when an empire that is not so powerful will overcome it and then will become powerful. There was a conclusion to this dream and that was; no one would be politically dominant and kingdoms would always change but the real kingdom and government would be God’s.
